Oakwood Builders-Inspections Division is a premier home inspection company located in Southwest Florida.  Founded by Master Builder/Remodeler Gary L. Eisinger who holds Florida State Certified Licenses in Home Inspections (HI-1887)  Mold Assessment (MRSA 559) Mold Remediation (MRSR 565) and is a  Florida State Certified General Contractor (CGC 1506624).  We are aslo uniquely qualified to perform Florida State Wind Mitigation Inspections for all Florida insurance companies by completion of the training program put on by the consulting firm of William H.York.  We are also listed in good standing on the www.1802inspectors.com website.  Citizens Insurance Company, which is owned by the U.S. government, started this program to eliminate inaccuracies and errors that were occuring in the inspections, and to standardize the procedure. At this time, only inspectors that have completed this training are recommended to perform Wind Mitigation inspections for Citizens Insurance Company.

 

 Our goal is to put our clients at ease and take the stress out of the home buying experience.  With our 32 years of building experience and comprehensive training, we not only are knowledgeable about all phases of local building, but are also aware of potential problems specific to Southwest Florida.  In addition to our extensive experience, our inspectors are formally trained specifically in Building Inspections and attend seminars to provide an assessment that is both accurate and comprehensive.  Our inspectors are also required to log 16 hours of continuing education each year and stay abreast of the most current inspection techniques and problems, which is a NAHI membership requirement.  Not only are we one of the few inspection firms in Naples that hold a Florida Certified General Contractor's License, we are constantly upgrading our training and licensing to provide the best service available in the area.  

We will work hard to help our clients make informed buying decisions, and to protect them in this important investment.  Our home inspections typically range from 3-5 hours long depending on the size of the home and you are encouraged to follow along with your inspector as they perform the inspection.

 

When the inspection is over, your inspector will provide a detailed inspection report regarding the property and, at your request, either deliver a hand written report at that time, or have the complete report emailed to you, and anyone else you request.
